I don't know how "family" it needs to be, but Eddie Murphy's remake of The Nutty Professor is very funny. The scene at the end with the whole Klump family is pure genius (and it has lots of farting, so boys of all ages love it).

look into feature films for families movies. They have a lot of good ones.
