AP is supposed to be hard... but yeah, you got a bad teacher. Try the College Board AP Central at http://apcentral.collegeboard.com/apc/Controller.jpf , or get some Calculus AP reference books, or ask a math whiz in your class.
As for your calculator, either find the guidebook it came with, or see the online one at http://education.ti.com/educationportal/sites/US/productDetail/us_ti84p.html?bid=6 .
Hope I've helped! =)

From what you have said, it seems you are not well-prepared to study advanced mathematics like calculus!! You need to understand how to operate that calculator first. Ask another top student for help. or go back after school and get extra help from the teacher. In an AP class, the teacher has the right to expect that the students are deeply interested in the subject, have a solid background to study the subject, and possess the study skills necessary for accessing and evaluating information. It may not be the teacher, my dear, it may be your lack of preparation and study skills to handle such a high-powered course.
Chow!!

Try to get transferred to a class taugh by a different teahcer. If that is not an option, consider tutor.
There are good calculus books - just peak that one that speaks to you at your local bookstore.
TI-84 usually comes with a manual.... Buy one (amazon? e-bay ?) if yours is missing. I find that TI-84 is pretty useless as far as learnign calculus goes. So unless it is required I woudn't worry about it.
Try Maple (software). I think it comes with very good calculus tutorial. I think google nowdays can give you very good pointers too.

theres sites for homework help in several domains and the calculus workbook should be at the library and maybe you and some of the others could make up a study group, like in college and then do the stuff the teacher isnt getting across or try to change to a differant teacher ,,

My AP psychology teacher is the worst as well. Try buying one of the Barron's Review Books. They usually cover most of what is one the test. If not, try to get a tudor or try to teach yourself with the txtbook.
AP calc is a tough class- if you don't think you can do it, switch out before it's too late. You do not want to waste an entire year of high school because of it

Can you afford a tutor?
Maybe you could get an online one. Ask your parents for help or a friend in the class that understands it. Hope it works out! ;-)

Try arranging a time to talk to your teacher after the lecture. If he remains unhelpful then talk to your student adviser about the teacher.

Try to be patient and understand what the teacher is saying.
TI-84 comes with owner's manual, please read and stay away from myspace for a few weeks.
