They are in denial and can't accept the truth and be honest about their actions. So they try to escape by turning there actions around. best thing is to let it go we will all answer for our sins in the end.

Yeah, it's very annoying. Because I always tell the truth. And they have the audacity to accuse me of making false accusations.

that should be pretty obvious. i live in a family full of them. theyve lied so much that they can no longer cover the old lies with new ones, alltho they think they have. i think thats called a pathological liar. i dont know about yours, but my case is pretty extreme. deny to the hilt is their motto. you didnt go into much detail so its hard to say except they dont want to take blame. did they steal something? beware of druggies, cause if thats the case it wont stop. it turns into a credibility issue, who are you going to believe. if its a one time thing, its no big deal, if it happens all the time, theres something else behind it. good luck to you, i just hope your not in my position.

Sounds like "normalization"...

I do it, and I'm normal, so the rest of the world must be doing it as well....

Same reason honest people are soooo gulible- (they assume the rest of the world is as honest as they are...) and why liars have such a hard time trusting others.

Some people prefer to live in a state of constant denial. It is usually best not to argue with them.

sounds more like most politicians.

Answers = stupid pride. When they point their fingers, they don't know 3 other fingers are point inward to themselves.

That's life, people are self centered and the eyes are looking out, not looking in.

Nobody likes to admit when they're wrong. Yes, it is wrong but people like to point the finger at everyone else but themselves.
