US President George Bush can't read.
Here is my "evidence."
1. He attacks the US education system at every turn...blaming them for poor student. I believe he wants to get even with a system he failed in. He is vindictive...proof of his vindictive nature =>Why did we really go into Iraq?...because "Afterall, this is the guy (refering to Saddam) who tried to kill my dad"
2. He always says he does not read newspapers/magazines when asked about his popularity numbers, etc. He says he is not worried about reading entire updates, etc. He just wants his advisors give him oral summaries of their information.
3. People who are not well read, are usually not well spoken. There is something "subliminable" about Bush that make me think he is not well spoken. Ok, it is not SUBLIMINAL, it is right out there smaking listeners in the face...the man does not have full command of the English language.
4. First Ladies of the US usually have an issue they like to bring to the nation's attention. (Laura doesn't because she wants to avoid the media attention that it might bring...after all, she did kill someone while she was in high school.) Do you remember what Barbara Bush's (George's mom) issue was when she was First Lady? It was adult literacy...getting people to learn to read!!! She has gone onto found the Barbara Bush Foundation for Family Literacy. Hmmmm...why was this such an inportant issue to her?? Could it be that she is the mother of an illiterate son and knows how tough it can be to raise one? (Just imagine how tough it would be for George if he was not born with a "silver spoon" in his mouth...LOL)

Oh my, from the last answers I read seems some people are brain washed by the media. If you want to know about Bush and Politics simply open your eyes. Check out the reopen 911 site and come to some logical conclusions on your own. Most american think the world is black & white with lilttle gray areas, and the gray areas they think exist, they think they are outside the US. The fact of the matter is the media and politicians simply let you belive that lie by feeding you the bull in the media. If you think the sky is falling, they will show you a falling sky to please your simple mind. If you research you will see the sky was never falling, LOL it already fell ;).

Like him or not but have respect for the office he holds. He happens to be the President of these United States and should be given the respect for that office. Quit blaming the man for everything that happens that you don't like and is usually the fault of someone else. As the president he accepts the responsibility of those mistakes as anyone else in a managerial or supervisory position. In my life time I've seen many presidents in office and had likes and dislikes for each of them but still respected the office they hold. If you want changes in that office? Go and vote the next time instead of bashing someone and taking it all out on the president. Our Congress makes the biggest mistakes, so keep that in mind when you do vote. Let's get these professional politicians out of office and start voting in individuals who have the people in mind to help rather then themselves.
