My coach wants me to go to quarterback, because i have a good arm in baseball and because i am fast. The problem is that when i throw the ball its a spiral but always tilts to the right or left. Please post something that can help how i throw the ball.

Point your non dominant toe at your target.

Take the ball closer to the point...

start with the ball behind your ear

throw from over your head...leading with your elbow

as you let go...let your fingers roll almost as though you were throwing a curve ball...

Your arm follows through just like a pitch

never take your eyes off your target...

now practice, practice, practice

Well, first things first. Set your feet, and point your eyes in the direction of your throw. Rotate at the shoulders and waist while your arm raises to the top of your throw. Just before you reach the top of your throw, squeeze the ball with your fingertips, then, release your thumb as you throw. This lets you control the yaw (nose left or right) of the ball. Finally, make sure you follow through all the way with your arm. Take it all the way across your body and to your opposite hip. This will add distance to your throws. Good luck with that arm.

throwing a spiral is fairly easy once you get the hang of it. the trick is to hold the ball like your going to throw it and then simply let the ball roll of your fingers into the air. it might take a while but once you get it it will be like second nature.

It will be hard to try to explain it without showing you but I will try. You should know that you snap your wrist to the side as you throw. Your reach back and release the football right around when it passes your head. If you are right handed, you snap it clockwise, so it can enter its spiral. It'll take practice but you should be able to do it because I learned to do it quickly.
