Today, I gave my 21 month old a bath after breakfast, as his water was filling up, I made juice, Ice, and tea. I then went into the bathroom and saw that the water was black! I was at the time, dricking the juice that I had made. I live in America, we should not have this problem. I just whent into the bathroom with the tub in it, and noticed that there was a thick layer of dirt on the bottom of the tub, I then looked a the juice, and saw the same thing. I dumped the juice. The water is running clear now. But if it makes us sick, will the county have to pay for our medical bill. I have been felling ill since this morning. And what could cause all that dirt in water that is usually really clean. We haven't had rain in about three days.

Call the Water Department at your City Hall to inquire about it. Ask them if why this has happened and what the problem is. If it's something that could affect your health, call a doc...uh, and maybe a lawyer.

Could be anything from dirty pipes to rust to, well, anything. Call and find out what's going on.

It is just the crap coming out of the pipe. The city you live in may be flushing the lines and that could cause extra crap. Which most like is just iron - don't worry too much, it is not a health issue, just asthestic (could cause staining on the tub, laundry, etc.). Maybe you had some work done on the plumbing? Or, sometimes, that stuff just breaks loose.

They were repairing the broken water main somewhere, and it happens in America too.

Don't get that hopeful about having the county pay for the treatment of what appears to be a highly auto-suggestive illness.
