In an big professional office environment where there are whites, blacks, browns, yellows working. What do you notice during lunch time when everybody goes to the cafeteria? Intergration becomes segregation, just like at the Universitys. But there is a difference in the mix. Often is the case is WHITE PEOPLE are the group that does not initiate to integrate with the other groups. Yellows initiate to integrate with WHITE PEOPLE because we don't see them as our SUPERIORS but our ENEMIES. Why enemies? Because WHITE PEOPLE in top management practice racial exclusion. Yellows and browns, and blacks all integrate well with each other, but it is the White people that the minorities feel treat them as other than equals. It is the case, it is reality, and the evidence is supported by behavior studies conducted by the University of Michigan.

Hate to break it to you, but you are just adding to the million of stereotypes out there that continue to divide races. Have you ever considered whites as the minority, and not always the majority? I admit, I am white, but I do not segregate myself from other people who are just like myself. In fact, you are more likely to find me with someone that is not just white, and not just American either. It has nothing to do with the color of their skin, but more to do with how they treat me and others, their personality, their character, and flat out whether or not we get along and share the same interests. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but stop spreading the hatred.

That's a very unfounded statement you made! Not true in the least. Ive worked as a CNA for over twenty five years and worked with many many Latina women and found that they were just as cordial to me as I was to them. I never had any real issues with any other race, I would think you do or wouldn't have said something in the first place. Psychology wise speaking from the science, Ive found that most people who declare a statement with lots of exclamation points and such really have some issues going on in their head. Ive noticed you made WHITE PEOPLE in bold letters also. That to me tells me you have some serious issues going on my friend. If I had done that same paragraph instead of white people and put BLACK PEOPLE, i would be called a Racist up one side and down the other. So you tell me what is going on with you upstairs here???????????????? You have some serious issues i suggest you get a better hold of or you may have a mental meltdown real soon.

Re-read the study with an open mind.
Have to agree with soniaatcalifornia & hidden.
I am white, but when my black friend, brown, etc. hear you say I am a racest, they will be glad to confront you/protect me. Correct you because they know me. You don't.
Sad that you do not have the same respect for yourself.
Color does not make it so but if you do not need an excuse for your short comings you would not make yourself appear so.
Also, for example: School teachers usually set together, could it be because they share a common interest? I also do see the custodian share a table with them because they share the interest of how the building is taken care of. That is if they care of their building and the children are everyones main interest. As a hard worker, interested in their job, trust those with the same, we could all get alone.
Your dragging up most every excuse you can to remind us all, there are jealous people with to much time to waste on non-facts that gives you another excuse to not work to live up to you fullest.

It sounds to me like you're the one with the segregation issues and a dislike for other groups. I don't see this where I work or have ever worked. I grew up in a very well mixed area so I don't have issues with any other "peoples". Look around you, try to sitting with a group that you see as "American WHITE PEOPLE" and maybe you'll be surprised at what you see, a group of normal people that don't judge by color or creed.

I have never been anything but white but I am a Jew and have felt discrimination. Perhaps non-whites have some kind of subliminal thoughts such as the ones running through your mind that somehow get picked up. I have not experienced what you are speaking of. I see people not colors.

Blow it out you azz. It's idiots like you that foster racial tension in this country. As for me, I consider everyone my equal regardless of color, religion, sex, etc. Get over your hatred or go back where you or your parents came from...

Maybe if you could spell and had proper gramar you would be treated the same. Ever consider that your color has nothing to do with it?

read the study again, everyone gathers with people they see simularities with. I am tired of all the "White Devil" propaganda perpetuated by people who refuse to actually read the study themselves.

Racism is everywhere. We will just have to learn to live with it and not practice it.
