I think I am a weird mix of my Dad and my Mom. So by default a weird mix of my Dad (who is like his Dad) and my Mom (who is like her Mom and Dad). Both very culturally Irish...you know with the temper and the loudness and wanting to party alot... But then I am also some of my very own--liking to be alone and paint or walk by the lake side or point out different bees to my kids. Ridiculously loyal (too a fault). Then contrastingly bossy and impatient and hugely competitive. Those are my things. Maybe because I had an annoying little sister that I was sometimes quiet with and other times bossy with??
So...recap...Mom and Dad...Culture of the Irish...dumb little sister... (who is now a wonderful woman and mother for the record) and seethingly competitive. Which may have started with my Dad but definitely gels with my husband.
I think we morph through life.

I am the way I am because of genetics/environment (it's the nature/nurture thang).

We can all do better. The hard part is realizing where we need improvement.

i am the way i am partially because of my influences: my parents, my friends, my relatives, my environment, and partially because of my choices. though ive not always had the best influences or choices, ive turned out ok.
theres always room for improvement. I could work harder in school, try harder in life in general, which im trying very hard to do.

I'm happy with the way i am, I may see some things a little different than some ppl sometimes, but that's the American way right?...having your own opinion. Be who you are, not who others want you to be. I try to be nice to everyone, if they are nice to me,.......would you be nice to me Marissa?......lol!!!

life has helped shape me into the person i am,I like me the way I am so I could probably do better but I don't have any desire to be different.Thanks for asking
