I'm eighteen years old, soon to be nineteen in November. I have a fiancee and we both want to have a baby, I started my period at the begining of this week. It stopped three days into it, which is not normal for me. Even when I'm stressed.
I have looked up everything possible, I took a test yesterday. It came up with one faded line that said negitave and one really dark line, I think I'm pregnant. I'm really bloated, I'm eating alot. My breasts are tender, and I'm tired often.
Please someone give me an answer, I really do want to be pregnant. I had a miscarriage back in May, and I really want to have a baby.

Hey! congrats, you are most likely pregnant. Funny thing like this happened to me, I wasn't even late yet, but I just wasnt feeling right, (we were in the army at the time) I asked hubby to get me a preg test on his way home from work, he did, I took it, two lines showed (but one line was so faint that it almost looked like a line wasn't there) okay, well I assumed I was, he assumed I wasn't...next day I made an appt to see a doc at the army hospital, got my appt, took the pee test, doc says Nope you are NOT pregnant...I thought, well okay and went on home, the next week, I feel even worse, some tingling in my breasts a tad bit of soreness...hubby was in the field at the time(training) so I went up to walmart, got a test, took it, two CLEAR lines, went to the doc, he is still saying I am NOT preg...but sends me for a serum test(blood test) and yep, I was pregnant, it was just very early into the pregnancy, funny how a store bought test beat the Docs office test! LOL

moral of the story.....trust your instincts, your body will usually reveal whats going on.......if you are having symptoms that are not normal for you (not usual PMS symptoms) you are probably pregnant.

sorry about your miscarriage. I miscarried in early March (06) at 7wks, I knew then too.

In a week, re-test, do a morning pee(I know these tests these days don't require it, but really it is better detected in the AM) levels are higher.

I've had the same symptoms including nausea and vomiting and minor cramps, but all 3 test said negative. I had a d&c in June and my cycle was two and a half and three days for July and Aug. It may be too early to tell, but believe you me, in 2-3 weeks, you should test again and it will probably be positive. I plan on trying to wait it out as well! Good luck

one...if your ready to start a family I hope you have a house and your boyfriend is ready to get married so the child doesn't have to grow up and explain that your not really married...and does your boyfriend make enough money so you can raise your child at home so you don't have to ship your 1 month old off to daycare or give the baby to a relative to raise? I hope you don't expect the tax payers to pay for your child?....well anyway to answer your question...if there are two lines your pregnant...now if its going to stick you'll have to wait and see...call your dr and request a blood test..but meanwhile take care of your body like you are pregnant.

Okay cool, I get to play Dr.
If your period came it does not sound like your pregnant.

A baby needs blood, and it would take ALL your blood in the first few weeks of conception, so there would be no period.

Its just sounds like your cycle changed.

Get married First.
TWO stable jobs second.
Then have baby.
You have plenty of time.

If you think you're pregnant, the best thing you could do would be to go see a doctor. Especially if you have already miscarried once. Best of luck to you and your new family.
