well, as there was never a country called "palestine" and "palestinians" includes those people who lived in the land prior to 1948, which includes jews, and many of the arab residents ran away instead of taking the partition plan which would have given them their own land, i'd have to say your question is mired in ignorance.

when you ask an interesting question then you may get an interesting answer, try it you may like it, the americans also supported the afgans, kuwait, pakistan and india, taiwan , why single out one of very many goverments and countries they give aid to very many third world countries, why single out one, is it because you have a problem understanding the complexity of treaties.
