Okay, I am not sure what it is made of..All I know is that it was used to play in a college game. I made a mistake on it and now need to fix it otherwise it can't be displayed. Anyone know how to clean the permanent marke off of it without ruining the ball or making a black marker-mess on the ball. Thanks.

Acetone the chemical in fingernail polish remover will take off permanent marker, it may also take out any dye they may have used to color or tint the brown on the ball, you could take a small amount of polish remover on something small like a Qtip and try it on a small area of the ink, it may do the trick, you might have to color over the spot with a brown marker to blend it, it won't hurt the ball.

Nail Polish Remover - and throw that scouring pad out - or you'll end up going to that party with red raw legs! If that fails, get some opaque black tights or leggings! Riley.

The only way is with a lot of blood sweat and tears. Play with the pigskin and anything will eventually be rubbed off :-)
