basketball is an American version of netball only difference is in UK its a girls game.
bit like rounders (girls games) and baseball

Netball is more restricted for instance you can't run around dribbling the ball like you do in basketball you stand defend and wait for the ball to be passed then pass it on to the scorer. I prefer basketball

Firts of all you can't move when you have the ball, and when you do have the ball you are only allowed to hold onto it for three secs. There are also 7 players on each team and they can't go everywhere, so each player is only allowed in a specific area on the court. Only GA and GS can score goals. You can't contact each other and you can't pick up the ball again straight away once you let go of it. You can't dribble the ball and when you score a goal it's only worth 1 point.
