I think Mark Mulder is definitely done, what do you think they are going to do about our whole pitching team?

Mulder is still having arm problems so for the year we wont be seeing much of him.
carpenter is still one of the best.
Suppan is still rocky but coming along
Weaver is doing great under duncans help
Marquis is is good but unrealiable 14-11
the bullpen
Hancock is doing good on the roster
Wainwright has been a brick wall... hes having a great year, hes ready to be a starter
Reyes is still a good lefty along with johnson
and izzy well hes acctuly done more good than bad....
But the Cardinals will defintly be shopping this offseason
When the starting pitching gets back in hand were gonna see soem definate improvements on the cardinals record

Hopefully Suppan can pick up the slack. I HATE MARQUIS! When hes on, hes the best, no questions asked. In free agency, there are Zito and Jason Schmidt. I would like to see Ziot reunite with Mulder, who knows. But Schmidt is more experienced with NL hitters. Cards are still good. No matter how bad Marquis, mulder, and Izzy have been this season.

Mulder, Suppan and Marquis are washed up...Weaver doesnt have what it takes and Isringhausen definately needs to go!!

well they might get david wells from the sox. Other than that since this is the last day to be on the playoff roster. not a whole lot.

as far as this season is concerned, they won't do anything, and they won't go far either. next year....with dave duncan working with weaver, rookie phenom adam wainright set to join the starting rotation, and chris carpenter as reliable as always, look for the cardinals to compete, and if walt jocketty can get another dependeble arm, lookout !!

What do they do? well, prolly get bounced in first rund of playoffs, if they get in playoffs with that pitching... other than that, they cant do anything. I mean, theres no pitching available ANYWHERE
