Draw a line down the center of a sheet of paper. List the good things in your life on one side and the bad things on the other. If you're honest with youself, I'm sure the good will out number the bad. I will keep you in my prayers today sweet lady. =0)

In a hand basket? You did at least get a hand basket didn't you?
Just kidding...
It is all due to perspective. You only see others lives from the outside while you experience yours from the inside. Someone may seem to have it made, but we don't see the hell they are living. Have you ever been shocked when someone rich and famous who has everything the rest of us work for suddenly put a gun to their head? Maybe the gun they use is alcohol or drugs or sex, but the result is the same, self destruction. It sounds like you are making a very common mistake: Judging your insides by everyone else's outsides. I learned a long time ago that the road to happiness is paved with gratitude. If I look for something to be grateful for I will find it, and in finding it I will have something to be happy about. Maybe I don't have all the toys my neighbor has, but maybe that just means I don't have all the bills either. If you truly have nothing, be thankful for your freedom. One of the best things a friend ever did for me was when I told them I was having a bad day, they replied "Are you sure you're having a bad day, or did you just have a couple of bad minutes and milk it for the rest of the day?" It pissed me off, but they were of course right, and I've never forgotten it. Good luck.

People are used to hiding the things in their life that aren't going so well. They only show and tell the things they want you to know, the rest they keep to themselves. Do you remember a song about the tears of a clown? Well everybody goes out with a happy face on for the public but they cry in private. Very few people are truly happy all the time. Problems are teachers, they teach us how to cope. The better you learn the lessons the easier it will be to deal with whatever comes next. They also helps us to not make the same mistakes over and over again. As corny as it sounds; Keep looking because there's happiness right around the next corner. Honest!!

Maybe u should take a step back & focus on the good things that are happening in your life, instead of the bad things. Believe me, others have it worst. But since it is YOUR life, the bad things seem extremely life cause its whats happening to YOU. So when u decied u have had enough, and u take that second glance at your life, also take note of the stuff that is not making u happy. Those are probably easier to spot, then figure out how U are going to change these things & U CAN, IF U WANT.
Good luck to you! Smile! Things could be worse!

Everyone has struggles in life ... everyday is a challenge. You need to look at your life from heaven's eye. If you get on the roof of a tall building in a city and look down, you can see cars and pedestrians going everywhere. You can see the obstacles that lie ahead of each driver from that vantage point. Down inside of the car, they can't. They only see what is in front. You see what is up ahead.
Life is like that. Life is a journey, not a destination. We can only see right in front of our noses. We can't see where the path leads. God in heaven can look down and see what lies ahead and tells us to simply persevere on the path. The obstacles are there but he can also see what is on the other side from his perspective.
The people who seem to have it all together have the same basic feelings of uncertainty. You're not alone. Don't throw away your confidence in yourself or your future. Just walk on a good path.

my life is not perfect either. i am still going to college, i lack money,i need to go home to the Philippines this year to marry my Fiancee.I'm doing the best i can to make my dreams come true.
maybe you could take notes on whats wrong with your life, review it and make the necessary changes to improve your life. don't look at your life in a negative way, think positive. don't think all bad things happen to you.you may be worse off that others, but your better off than others to.
cheer up.tomorrows another day :)

Everyone else is wondering the same thing....
No matter how much I complain about my prospects for the future and being stuck, there are always people who seem to envy my position.
