Check for spark.
A) Remove spark plug, connect plug wire, and lay the spark plug on the engine somewhere touching metal.
B) pull the start rope and look for spark.

Check for water in the carburator bowl, and\or gas tank.

If it ran recently, it's probably water in the fuel.

If it has'nt run for a while, it may be old gas in the carburator.

If you want to remove the carburator bowl, use a half inch socket or wrench and remove the bowl nut in the bottom center of the bowl.
The bowl tends to stick a little, but it will come off after removing bowl nut.

Try some starting fluid, or carb cleaner to see if it will start.
