I adore our Father in Heaven..and His Son...The bible is only two thousand years old...and yet people are still making fun of it...calling it a fantasy..etc..but they will cling on to anything else they might find from that era as the truth...God is our Maker and gives us peace and all we have to do it to try to please Him and beleive in Jesus...all that he wants for us it for our good

"God" is a relative term. An idol known by many names, "he" or "it" is real to certain people, and not so much to others. Breathing life into this idol is a choice of faith.
The real question is, however, are we real to that god, or are we just part of that being's imagination?

Yes.. very real..You just have to be receptive to him..and open up your mind and heart!.and soul..sometimes he reveals so much to you though others actually start acting like you are a weirdo ..then they say your a liar..its not alot of fun being Christian but remember what they did to Jesus they strung him on a cross!..u just got to trust he has the best for you already planned out and really "no one can interfere" with Gods Plans good luck ..start attending a church where u hear music and clapping they spirit filled you will have Blast!..and their are rewards ....thanks for the question..u gave me my hope back..that people do care somewhere...

dont listen to DALE F. God is very real to me, and to about 1/2 of the population. How would we be here without God?

It seems that it is a natural impossibility to have something out there we call "God". A believe is debatable and knowledge is factual. God exists for the ignorant, insecure, lazy, fearfull, coward etcetera.

I used to believe in God until he took my Mom 8 yrs ago. IF there were a God, do you really think that all the fighting/killing in the world would be going on? To me, a Superior "being", should NOT allow such travesties.

doesn't exist. but thats my opinion. its funny though how people try and force their "opinions" on other people. you phrased your question perfectly by asking what people opinions are, unfortunately a lot of people who do believe in god dont respect other people's opinions if they differ from their own, therefore they get upset and start to preach. it is my strong belief that god does not exist. it is not real to me. i have my own beliefs as to how we came to be here, but i dont try and talk people out of believing what they believe. let them believe what they will. thats my philosophy.

Yes, I believe god is somewhere, we may not beable to see him. Someone had to make us, not everyone believes in the same god though, but all in all i feel it is actually the same one.
