First of all: It's Hendrix. James Marshall Hendrix, or, Jimi, if you like. "Won't Get Fooled Again" is the song you're talking about.

"Won't Get Fooled Again," although I'm sure there are others. That's probably the one you're thinking.
The NY Yankees use this song before every game, probably because it has that line: "Meet the new boss / same as the old boss," a reference to George Steinbrenner getting fired and then re-hired as "boss" of the team.
