Nobody has the right to take justice into their own hands. Sad as it is, the system doesn't always work.

Murder, no.....manslaughter would be a better sentence if any. Not that a lot of us wouldn't do the same if in the same situation, but maybe a "temporary insanity" defense would be good.

Wow! That's a good question! I can certainly understand why this dad did it, and I don't blame him at all. I might do the same thing!

While I don't condone murder, I'm sure he's quite aware of the chances of this guy getting off scott-free, and just decided to take it into his own hands to make sure it didn't happen again to his own, or anyone else's child. He was doing all he possibly could to protect his child.

I'm sure he felt he was doing his family and society a favor by getting this pervert off the streets.

Seems to me extenuating circumstances should exist in a case like this. And although I think the "insanity plea" is over abused in the system, I think this is one case it should be allowed.

Well, murder is murder ok I agree with that. Somebody i know has a child who was molested and because the child was too young and there were not phisical eveidence they didn't nothing to the molester,i am talking about the law. As parent,as a mom,i may understand what this guy felt. There are people who can control themself, there are people who snap.Is he guilty? of course he is for the society and for the law,but can we make him guilty as human being and father?

I think he should recieve an insanity sententance, he was in a blind rage from what the man did and in his mind was thinking rationally. Get him some couseling and a light probabtion.

I think that murder is murder. However, he might not get convicted of 1st degree murder, but manslaughter.

I think he should get probation...or like you said a lesser sentance...I guess he couldn't just get off free like OJ did...because I guess it would open the gates so that everyone can do it...but I don't dislike the guy.
