Now that it is more popular to hate on Hispanics and Muslims.

I guess what I am asking is there less racism/discrimination directed at you? Or is it just incremental racism/discrimination that is being directed at Hispanics and Muslims and no difference in the attitude towards African Americans?

Jackie... Calm down, I agree with you, on a general level you can say all ethnic groups are racist.

Either way, I said NOTHING about terrorists - only Muslims and Hispanics (there is a difference you know). Quit being so defensive not everyone is out to get you. Some people are here to discuss, debate, and learn.

My point was just that it seems like Muslims/Hispanics are the subject of much of the ire that was previously directed at black folks. I wanted to find out if this was true.

Hard to say. I think the racism we [Blacks] experience is subtler, while Muslims get it pretty overtly at times, and now the Mexicans do too.

Things don't feel any more or less difficult in life.

If someone hates one race, I'm sure he or she will hate the others.

I don't think life gets easier for anyone, there's no telling what can happen.

I always felt that more ignorant people made life harder for everyone else.

Life doesn't feel any easier for me but thanks for asking.

Where did you learn about it being more popular to hate on Muslims and Hispanics?

Kind of...there is still a huge discrepancy between blacks and whites in terms of socioeconomics. I work for very wealthy people (part-time) and in the nicest areas...all are white. It saddens me a bit. I just got a new job teaching and I will make a difference for my race just by doing my job well.

Some things have gotten a lot better but huge issues are hidden within the structure of our institutions.

More popular with who? Blacks are racist, Muslims are racist, whites are racist, Chinese are racist, American Indians are racist. Everyone thinks it's the other guy who is keeping him down. Hating terrorists isn't racist, it's just common sense.

God is the only hope left for African Americans. Without support from God, the African American race would be completely eradicated.

there might not be as much social racism, but there is still plenty of institutional racism.
