Walk up to him and say Hi um, is your name (insert whatever name comes to mind) He might say no and tell you his name. Or you can wait and see if one of your other friends talks to him and ask them what his name is.

Just be blunt about it. Go up to him and ask "Whats your name"? or always use a friend and say "hey my friend wants to know your name" and when they say what friend, Use a guys name........................
