you can't generalise on ALL ''black'' kids because you don't know all of them

and if a ''black'' is doing her hair in class then either she just don't care about that lesson or she is going some were

and there is nothing wrong with touching up your hair 2-5 times a day it just means you don't want to look bad, also if were were ashamed then why would we show it, and most girls (not only ''black'' girls) constantly use the mirrors and it doesn't mean their ashamed of anything .

black children are not the only ones, many black people are ashamed of their hair. Many black people do not see natural afro hair as sexy. Thats why there is such an unbeWEAVEable amount of weaves, relaxers etc.

Luckily the tide began to turn over the last 10 years, and people have been rocking some cool natural styles. But by and large,many people still want to rid themselves of the naps, sadly...
