I will tell you the truth, Katherine, but you have to promise to give me 10 points for this little confession. Once, in Hong Kong, I saw this striking looking man on the street at a market. He was being filmed but I had no idea who he was. Later that night, at my hotel (I was a flight attendant in those days and was on a layover) I suddenly saw him again in the bar. He was drinking and smoking with the film crew. Our eyes met and I think he remembered me. He invited me over and I spent that night laughing at his wonderfully sour sense of humour. I wish I could give you a very juicy ending to this story, but he was a perfect gentleman (if not a bit of a flirt) and all I have to remember him is a kiss on the cheek. And a great recipe for Peking Duck!

I saw a spotted anthony bourdain while on Safari in Africa. He was squatting behind a tree waiting to attack the passing wildabeast. I feel blessed to have experienced that.

i saw him once at the side of the new york public library -- i was waiting to get tickets for the talk he's giving for a book (i seriously dont even know which one, all i know is im great fan of his) and man was i floored! i didnt get to go to the talk but i did see him in that signature well washed (read:old and comfy) gray shirt dragging a long and deep puff on a cigarette. i wanted to seriously get to his side and have a picture shot with him. but of course, i stopped myself.
ive been to brasserie les halles, and i assure you the food is superb.
