Why do some people get off on putting others down? What a thing to judge, the reduction of a word initial consonant. Must be desparate for feeling over others?

Such a generalization is simply ludicrous!! What do you mean without exception?? I always say THEM. Thus your premise is flawed and in error because I am an American.

Another very thoughtful overgeneralization.
I've heard countless people pronounce THem. It depends where it is in the sentence.
