Why is it that all Americans, without exception cannot say the object pronoun "them" ?
Maybe I am wrong and the correct pronounciation is "em".

Why do some people get off on putting others down? What a thing to judge, the reduction of a word initial consonant. Must be desparate for feeling over others?

Such a generalization is simply ludicrous!! What do you mean without exception?? I always say THEM. Thus your premise is flawed and in error because I am an American.

Chow!!

Another very thoughtful overgeneralization.

I've heard countless people pronounce THem. It depends where it is in the sentence.

We don't all say 'em, many of us actually do say THem.

i think we say it sometimes, like if its in a certain spot in a sentence we'll say "them", or if we're talking to like a college interviewer or something. but yeah, i know what you mean.
