Okay, in my league I have the option to to play a total of 5 RB/WR. One must be a RB and one must be a WR. the remaining three can be either a RB or WR. Weird right? Anyhoo of my "staff" I have these folks;

Steven Jackson RB
Duece McAllister RB
Marion Barber RB
Wali Lundy RB

Jerry Porter WR
Kevin Curtis WR
Reggie Brown WR
Santana Moss WR
Torry Holt WR

Before you even say it I know that my resources are limited and my bench is dead. I know that and am regreting it big time. So, what's your pick?

**NOTE** Curtis, Barber and Lundy are all iffy meaning that if they pan out or beat out their starter then they'll get put in. That's actually what I'm counting on really. So they are possibilities, not definites.

Also, Bulger or Brees?? I got Bulger in for now but just wanted someexpert opinions.

Since there is no need to comment on drafting(I assume you are a Rams fan).

I would advise you to approach it like this. Try and improve your running back situation. Running backs typically have good fantasy numbers through out. While WR tend to be a lot more up and down. It is typical for a WR to have a 2 touchdown (12 fantasy points) and have 30 yards the next game (1 fantasy point).

Ideally I would prefer to go 3 running backs 2 WR. But with your roster I would go:

Torry Holt
Santana Moss
Steven Jackson
Duece McAlister
Reggie Brown

Until Oakland figure out what they are going to do I would stay away from Jerry Porter.

You got three perhaps four solid guys (especially if Duece turns into Jerome Bettis and take all the touchdowns)

I would be scared of both of your QB, they are with new coaches but if picking betweening the two I would take Bulger.

Heres what you do. You start Jackson, Lundy, Moss, Holt, and Barber.
McAllister is still hurt so don't start him. Lundy will get the start and he will be a good RB for them. The other backup the Texans have the coach doesn't like so don't even worry about him. Barber is the goal line man and will get carries in the middle of the field also because well he is just better then Jones. No brainers on Jackson/Moss/Holt.
Good luck

Steven Jackson Definitely and that is probably it for RB's. Moss and Holt are a shoe in and Curtis is the number 3 in St. Louis if I am not mistaken, plus Reggie Brown has been thrust into the number 1 spot in Philly so I would probably use him too. As for the QB situation I would start out with Bulger since noone can know for sure if Brees isn't going to flop or maybe pull a Chad Pennington either. You can always switch them if Bulger sucks it up, but he is usually pretty consistent, although I have heard that St. Louis is going to run more which is still good since you have Jackson. That is what I would do with what you have if that is what I had.

Crap !!!! you got two crappy QB's they are both coming off injuries. All I can say is try trading for some decent players or get some free agent help...Keep Holt , Moss, and ur top two RB's the rest trade away...Porter is not gonna do much this year cus he is unhappy and wants out of Oakland plus they have a New QB there. if u need help contact me.

You lose too lots in case you commerce away uniqueness or Portis with Moss. the folk you commerce away could finally end up with greater numbers each and every week than Marshall on my own. i might look for yet another commerce that does no longer incorporate those 2 backs.
