Is that the ODI?
My BF went to the ODI at Sophia Gardens in Cardiff yesterday (30 Aug). I was watching it on TV and was horrified by the speed with which wickets were going down.
Shoaib Akhtar was pretty lethal. They couldn't seem to stand up to him at all. Bell did fairly well with his 88 though.
The match was rained off in the end so he didn't see the end of it. Shame though as he said otherwise it would have been a really good day out, and he'd been worrying they were going to cancel it because of all the ball-tampering fiasco in the test.
Lots of shouts of "Check the ball, Ump!" from the England supporters apparently!!! But the Pakistan supporters were giving it large so the England boys had to shout something back. My BF was sitting with the Barmy Army and they were having a go!!
