Early 1970s science fiction tv show, maybe on public tv, involving people lost inside a giant space ship?

I am not sure if they were lost in a space ship, or some kind of complex on a planet. I barely remember this show, but the sets were very low-budget, and something in my memory tells me it was on public televsion, though I could be wrong about that. I seem to remember they had puzzles to solve, and needed to go somewhere. Lastly, although I barely remember this show, I know it existed :)

Was definitely not lost in space, probably not british, probably in black and white.

Could you be talking about a british show starring Patrick McGoohan (sp?)? Did it have large bubbles that would engulf anyone who was trying to escape? i can't think of the name of it, though. It was on PBS for a while,
