You can compare prices by calling your pharmacy. Normally they will start you off at 50 mg. My insurance covers it & it's only $10.00 a month & from what the paper says, if I didn't have insurance it would be around $20.00 a month (this is from Meijers).

As far as Metformin...Metformin does NOT help you get pregnant. You have PCOS so you are Insulin Resistant (or IR). That is what the metformin is for. It's to help with your bloodsugar/IR & it should help you lose weight so you can conceive later on, but it has nothing to do with pregnancy (I took Metformin but had to get off of it as it was making me ill)..

The price of clomid is different in every store but its price is near by the $9 and your monthly packs $24. More detail - http://www.usignp.com/2014/07/compare-pharmacy-prices-prescriptions-on-patient-couk.html

check it out on Google, there are lots of pharmaceutical companies who advertise prices. Or,,,,call your pharmacist for a price, they are happy to oblige. (Does your doctor offer free samples? Mine does, ask!) Good Luck!
