The main reason that you do not inhale the smoke from a cigar, is because you do not have to, to enjoy it's flavors. A good cigar has many flavors that are appreciated on the tounge, and not the lungs.
Plus, one churchill size cigar (7X50 ring gauge) has more tobacco than a full pack of cigarettes, so inhaling cigars is not reccommended for that reason.
The proper way to smoke a cigar is to take a nice draw and let the smoke exit out of the mouth at it's own pace, then exhale. This allows the smoke to stay in the mouth long enough to pick up its flavor.
As with most guilty pleasures they are best appreciated in moderation.

Some do, though only occasionally. I've never met anyone who inhaled every pull, that's just crazy. Usually every 5-7 pulls I'll inhale a bit. And plus you do inhale the smoke even if you think you don't.

Because cigar smokers would rather poison our lungs than their own. The smoke smells gross, so who in their right mind would want to inhale it?

cigars have no filter which causes the smoke to bew a little hotter,in turn which is unpleasent on the throat,the smoke is also a little harsher naturally

Because it's like second hand smoking. only the person inhaling it gets serious-er injuries than the person who's smkoing. so yeah, that's the reason you can't inhale...anything!!

because cigar smoke is really harsh on your lungs, throat, etc, and because cigars don't have filters it all goes right in. plus cigar smoke is nasty and can't make you feel sick because they are bigger than cigarettes too.
