memoirs of a geisher! brilliant film because before i read the book i thought a geisher was a prostitute but when i read the book there not and the film also....whats good about the film is that you get to understand just what a true geisher is: there artists who sing, dance and entertain men...and also the outfits they wear are wonderful and the japanease gardens well they are so full of colour and life in the film it makes the story complete
