A sugar daddy is an older guy, probably not all that attractive, who has, despite everything, made some serious cash and is quite sucessful financially. He usually finds himself craving sexual encounters with young people. A young person who craves the lifestyle and financial benefits that he has, this person will get past the "looks" of the older guy and be intimate with him in exhange for an upgrade in lifestyle. The "sugar" is basically the free money the younger, very hot person gains by being intimate with the older "daddy."

A sugar daddy doesn't have to be old. It's just a guy that spoils his girl by buying her all sorts of things, paying for dates, giving her money, etc. It doesn't have to be in exchange for sex.

It basically means a guy who's pimping a girl, really.
When a girl becomes "kept", her "sugar daddy" keeps her at his apartment which he usually leases out to and spoils/ showers her with gifts in exchange for a few sexual favors.

Yes a older guy entices someone young and usually poor and very insecure about theirselves .. My sugar daddy picked me out of a crowd he said ....I was the one with my head down all the time... If he would have been nice to me and help me blossom into a beautiful woman it proably would have benefited in someway but unfortunately ...he was not nice..and well the self esteem was only brought lower. it wasnt a money based relationship in exchange for sex ..which most of them are!! it was a ongoing relationship!...Most times was just him needing a dinner date..but he never kissed me it was the most horribe relationship of my life and he was multimillionaire ..All I wanted was Love and all he wanted to do was hand me money!! ..He made me detest money!!!! and thats a fact ..
