Every measurement has some degree of uncertainty. The uncertainty of a measurement depends on the precision of the measuring device.
Precision refers to the degree of agreement among several measurements of the same quantity. So, make sure you are using standardized "tools" of the trade. Take at least 3 different readings of what ever you are measuring or weighing and divide the total by the number of readings. For an average value. Before doing anything. Read at least the first 3 Chapters of a Chemistry textbook(carefully).
