That's a fascinating question! Do yeasts actually HAVE a diet? Yes, I believe they often live on complex sugars.

So, complex sugars are the best diet for candida.

Rainbow Green-Live Food cuisine has about 150 vegan recipes appropriate for the candida diet. You can have: sprouts, nut milks, veggies(no squash carrots, beets, potatoes), coconut pulp(not water), stevia, millet, buckwheat. It is a very restrictive diet. Try to eat lots of avocados for the calories. For example: You can make yummy granola with millet and hulled buchwheat: soak overnight, drain, add cinnamon and stevia, bake at lowest temp. in oven until crispy. Serve with fresh almond milk.

No, sugars, bread, alcohol, caffine, coffee, etc. Also, Activa or Stoneyfield Farm yogert b/c it has live active cultures to balance your bacteria level. Another thing that is good is an Candida Cleanse (in pill form or tea), you can get them at like a vitamen shop or organic shop. As you can see I've had the same problems and they worked for me.

Alot of your other answers were correct, but if sticking to a diet is too hard, then try taking the vitamin acidophilus. It is the same thing found in yogurt. Its cheap and can be found at walmart. The vitamin is said to promote good vaginal health and decrease yeast infections, if thats your problem. You were not specific as to why you wanted to know.
