What dreams may come! thought provoking about the after life and how we affect those we leave behind. Robin Williams is the protagonist. the saddest parts had 2 b when Robin's character had to rescue his wife from her own obilvion. No chickie above was right, the Green Mile...I haven't met a woman or man who watched the movie who didn't have to dab their eyes or complain about "allergies" when that gentle giant got the chair.

Titanic. If she really loved him she would have found a way to get him up on that board or onto another one! Either that or she would have let him get up there while she was in the water.

Also, My favorite movie, Breakfast At Tiffany's (old like 1967 i think). With Audrey Hepburn. I had to watch it a few times before I really caught on, But I cry every time she looses and finds Cat because it actually represents her finding herself. You should watch it.

There's a long list of movies that I found extremely sad.

Titanic
A Walk to Remember
The Notebook
The Green Mile
Fluke

I'm sure there's more.

I usually never cry when I see a movie, but when I saw "The Green Mile", that changed my whole point of view of movies.

I wish some people would put spoiler notices on their answers....cough cough stangracer...

The Amyityville Horror remake was the saddest movie to me. Not because it was a tear jerker movie, but because it was the biggest piece of sh*t i have ever watched. It brought a tear to my eye that I spent $4.00 to rent this movie to see some little girl decked out in racoon makeup trying to look "freaky" and "scary".
