When will there be a noticeable difference in the weather from summer to fall.?

I expect that when Autumn comes (at the equinox), it'll be warmer than now - may not get to 60° in the Poconos today, then a chilly rain tonight & part of daytime Saturday. We are probably due for a warmer spell then. I am sure Autumn will be cooler over the long haul though.

I already noticed it about two weeks ago. When I woke up he wind sounded different when it blew through the trees. Since that morning, it has been cooler at night. The leaves sound dryer when the wind blows through them.
