Take everyones advice. Go to your parents and tell them how you feel. If you don't feel you can talk to them, talk to another relative or a close friend. Don't let it go on without talking to someone. I am being treated for depression, my 13 year old daughter is being treated for depression and I ave an adult male friend who is in and out of the hospital for attempted suicides and depression. Please, ending your life is not the answer. There's not always a reason for why we are depressed. Sometimes it's because of the hardships we go through in life and other times its a feeling that is "just there" and we don't know why. Either way, medication and therapy does help. Please seek someone you trust and find the joys in life! I will be praying for you!

Have a very good, open and honest conversation with them. Inform them that at present you are experiencing problems and feeling depressed. Ask them if they will help you investigate some outside resources that you can investigate to search for help. All of us at one time or anyother have feelings of depression and/or question our existance. However; life is far to short as it is so why rush the inevidable. Take a good look at your life and the live of others. I'm sure that you'll find lots of people who are worse off then you and hopefully this will help you become grateful for what you have. Best of luck approaching your parents and seeking out professional help.

the best way to do it is to just be honest. Really tell them what is depressing you. If nothing else seek counseling yourself there are a lot of places out there if u are in school speak with a guidance counselor otherwise go to a local social services they usually have free counseling for depressed people i am also manic depressive and have attempted to kill myself and it scared the hell out of me cause the last time i almost suceeded i am past that point now but sometimes friends can be a big resource in pulling you out of your depression but you need to realise that suicide is not the answer and that there is help out there otherwise look up the suicide hotline they can be a big help also

Just tell them you need to see a psychiatrist immediately. If you don't want to talk about it and they keep asking questions, just explain to them that it's personal but you know you need help.

Or, you could even make the appointment yourself and just let your parents know that you're going to see someone.

Don't be afraid to tell your parents what's going on- they may react funny, but most of the time, parents will be concerned and want to help. This just might be a siutation they're unfamiliar with, so if their actions feel inappropriate to you, try to cut them some slack.

I hope you get the help you need, and I hope you keep in mind that there is a whole world out there full of people that want to meet you. There are people who love you now, and there are more people waiting in the future.

~Just tell them straight up. You could also call a hotline although I have no experience with them.

You just need to be up front with them or just go see a therapist by yourself. Maybe he or she could help. but killing yourself is not the answer because once you die there is no coming back here to hang out with the people you love and the people that love you. Beside everyone would miss you. So just talk with them are talk with one of your good friends.

I know it might be hard, but just try and be as honest as possible with them. Let them know that you have a problem, you've recognized it and now you want help and you NEED them to help you.
Keep your ground firm, and dont let them interrupt you, they listen you talk! You are reaching out to them for help, if they were good parents they would listen to you and not push you away.
Sorry you feel so deperessed that you feel like suicide is your only way out. Just remember....this too shall pass.

=)

It will be the biggest step you take but do it, if they don't listen tell someone else and keep on asking for help until you find someone who does have answers. Things might look really bad right now, but giving up isn't the answer, find something positive everyday and focus on doing things that will make your life better.

Tell them straight out so you can get help before you do something crazy. If your not comfortable with that, just tell them you've been unhappy, bummed out, upset, angry, or something to get your point across. Life isn't so bad that you need to end your life. (This too shall pass.) It'll all work out in the end. Dont do anything you may regret.
