with today's players and the speed and length of the season it is almost impossible to go 16 -0.when the dolphins went undefeated the talent was not as evenly divided and the players were not as advanced. you now see high school players that are larger than NFL players from that era. with specialized camps and the nutrition and training of today, the body is not prepared to go 18 to twenty weeks of constant pounding. almost any NFL team can beat another on a given day.if any team could do it it would be Indianapolis. They would have to be lucky and almost major injury free.Even with luck the stars would have to be in alignment. To be undefeated it takes a five year start up were players have played together and then the team needs a easier schedule with most of the tough games being at home. But the team must also have all the horses pulling in one direction and be able to keep the media from dividing the team from its mission. Most team look for the playoffs first, then the super bowl. being undefeated would be a bonus.

This year no team will do it for the simple reason that there are too many good teams. No team is so far above the rest tat it wouldn't be anything short of a miracle to go 16-0. Some teams with easy schedules and a little luck may come close but until one team is so stacked that nobody can rationally see them losing will the perfect season be once again attained

I don't think any team this year can go 16-0. If I had a gun to my head and was forced to pick, I would have to say the Colts. I think the harder thing to do is go 0-16.

Nobody will go 16-0 this season; the Colts, who would have the only chance, lost Edge James so i don't think anyone will do it

No one will. But going 16-0 is, IMO, a little easier than going 0-16...

What is it with Dolts fans? Every year they dominate the media and every year Manning chokes. This is as annoying as T.O. coverage.
Schedualing makes a perfect season nearly impossible. The best teams from last year get the toughest schedual this year.

i think the only team that may have a chance this year is the indianappolis colts....their defense is much improved ranked 4th in the league and their offense has to be number one even without the edge. their schedule is also fairly easy
