You've been around long enough to know how this crap works and although your intent is true by posting questions and drawing attention to the many problems that exist on this site, wouldn't it really be best to apply your own wisdom and Y!A's experience and simply play the game.
I could elaborate on this but I'm inclined to believe that there is no need to with you as I doubt I could fill you in on anything you haven't already figured out.
Put a value on your time and ask yourself if time spent tracking down and exposing the weaknesses and flaws of the community is really worth it. I'll refrain from giving you any of my perspective on this as it is also irrelevant and "a waiste of time". I am reclaiming my life.

some ppl are just having just a bad day & it makes them feel good to ruin someone else's. other times, they over-do it on the political correctness. still, some r offended by what they read & feel it's their duty to play "censor" for everyone else. it depends on the person. me, i'm not easily offended unless it involves abusing children &/or animals. i'm all for free speech, but do u have to abuse it by going there? that i will report because making fun of society's most vulnerable members isn't funny; then there's always the chance that the sicko who wrote it is actually for real.

i couldn't tell you why people do the stupid things they do....you'd have to ask them.
personally, i think it is because they have nothing better to do w/ their time, and they enjoy wasting it here. they simply have too much time on their hands.
...but like i said before, i wouldn't know, you'd have to ask them yourself
