In terms of military power and economic clout, yes. The US has more raw distructive power than the PRC, more diplomatic strength (with is permenent seat on the UN Security Council) than any nation save 4 others (UK, France, PRC, and Russia), and has the biggest economy in the world. Whether that is healthy is another matter altogether.

No. There's more like England and France and many other countries. The people who won World War II are the superpowers.

yes, it is true.
Not sure it's a good thing, nor do I know what sort of behavior is appropriate when you are the only big dog on the block. Do you make all the littler dogs 'play nice'? Do you ignore the little dogs? It is much easier to be a superpower when you aren't the only one.
But it is definitely true.

No many other countries are strong too or have things that make them very important we are just a country that likes to fight alot. we are definantley not the only superpower.
