Both, because you need a balance... if you are trying to be serious about something you don't want him to crack a joke and if you're feeling down and need a laugh you don't want him to be so serious that you need to find "funny" somewhere else.

A mixture of both. But if i had to chose between a serious one and a funny one id chose the funny one. Happiness for me begin with a good laugh.

I prefer a guy who is generally funny, but who can be serious if an occasion calls for it :)

alittle bit of both (but funny more than he is serious) when its something he has to be serious about ((like loving me, taking responsiblity for something)) then i want him to be serious, but other than that i would rather have a funny guy thats goin to make me laugh and have fun with =D a man thats goin to give me adventure :) *ahh its a fairytale*

Funny. There is enough serious stuff in my work, so I want someone who is not afraid to laugh and have fun.

A mixture of both. If they were always serious, they would never be any fun. BUt if they were always goofing around, they would be so annoying.
