Disney Enterprises, Inc. (holder of the Disney trademark in Florida), is a Delaware domestic corporation . More than likely it is a C corp, since it is so large. It's usually the smaller mom and pop corps that are S-corps.

I once had the opportunity to have a bit of a look behind the scenes, chatting with a few managers, and boy did it feel horrible and sect-like. Poor people had to watch what they were saying word for word, many seemed genuinely scared, you name it.

I think it was made worse by the fact that with all the cute children things that Disney produces, one might have thought that the atmosphere within the company would also be friendly and cute.

But it was everything but that. It seemed, as I said, sect-like, narrow-minded, little freedom to think out of the box. It felt like one of those places you'd rather avoid working for.

Maybe this was just an anecdotal example of course, but since then I have heard pretty horrible stories from or about theme park workers, that go bang in line with my own experience. Again, maybe this too is just another coincidence?

Hope this helps

from a human resource angle, i'd say they are excellent. i believe they treat their employees well, provide training where needed and wanted to promote from within.
