You will be like ALL the other girls out there. Its like a heard of cattle with a brand all in the same place. Nothing original or remotely creative about it any more. Actually, quite lame. Sorry girls, facts are facts. Those tats are a dime a dozen *yawn*.
Want something attractive? Try your bikini line, ankle, back of your neck or back of your shoulder, even around your belly button. Never your arms, legs or butt. And definitely not your breasts... unless you are a trucker.

The lower back kind of screams SL*T! The boob says biker chick. The arm says lesbian and the ankle is too visible.
A small, taste full tattoo just above the pubic line and well below the belt line off to one side or the other is a sexy yet discreet surprise.

There are several places that can be sexy; depends on the girl and on the tattoo. Usually when it's in an out of the way place, you know not seen every day, small of back, front of hip, back of neck under right below your hair line.

Take it from someone who has seen a lot of tattoos, the lower back position that most of your answers are suggesting is normally called a 'Tramp Stamp'. No offence intended to those who already have it, but a word of warning to those who are planning to go under the gun. I dont think any part of the body is a good place for a tatoo. They may seem like a good idea at the time but tatoos r forever. Can u imagine it when u r 80 years old?

personally I hate the tatoos that are too visible, or that are too sexual (especially if you're not gay, they make you gay because so many lesbians have the classical above the butt tattos, or more intimate tattoos on the front).
I find that the ankle makes a good spot. It can be made visible, it can be hidden. And it will not look like you have tried to imitate tasteless celebrity number x ;-)

I have a small unicorn on my shoulder blade upon my back and I have never regretted it. I love it, in fact you have just reminded me of it. I forget its there.
However, its also what the tattoo actually is. The worst for a women is on her arms. I like feminine tattoos though I would NEVER have my arms touched.

well..i dont have a tattoo but i think they look nice on the ankle a small cute tattoo or on the top part of the arm .

Lower back or off center below the waistline in the front...depending on what the tattoo is.
