My daughter lives in Beaufort, SC, and she said the storm has been downgraded. She's not expecting anything more than heavy rains. But still, to be safe, watch the weather channel.

Apparently not. If Ernesto hits the North Carolina coast - it is over 250 miles from Charlotte. There will be no hurricane force storm in Charlotte, perhaps a lot of rain, however.

If I were you I would be more worried about terrorists then this sissy storm

airlines usually get good information on storms, and if flying is unsafe then I'm sure your flight will be canceled

Schools gets canceled for everything now a days i would base nothing on the fact that school is canceled
