There are too many people who only feel "terror" due to the crimes of Muslims and not the crimes of others. Why don't they just come out and say that THEY believe this is a war against Muslims or Islam itself?

I mean, honestly, it seems to me that some people hate Islam so much that they enjoy the whole idea of killing any Muslim anywhere for any reason. You're not supposed to ENJOY killing! Its supposed to be a sad fact of life that must happen in self defense sometimes. Not something fun and exciting.

If you don't think you've met someone like this, it's probably because you don't know how some people REALLY feel. I've heard enough to know they are spreading like a disease.

JANICE: you say "you say you are not suppose to enjoy killing any Muslim, anywhere, for any reason." I didn't say that at all, it's right there in black and white. I said people shouldn't enjoy killing.

you also say: "Then WHY is the Muslim taught from birth that they are to wipe out the infidels." That is complete foolishness to lump millions of Muslims into the same category. Thats like saying the KKK views of christianity is what is taught to ALL christians.

We have domestic terrorists like in theee Oklahoma City Bombing ask the people there if they were terrorized by one of our own.

I am terrorized by the drive by shooters who were born in my city and all the gang activity. There has not been a foreign attack in my city, but people are murdered daily by people that were born in this state.

Look at the stats. Yeah September 11th was horrible, but how many people are terrorized by fellow Americans as composed to people from foreign lands on our land.

Please do not blame this on the Muslims. I am not Muslim. I am an American born person who has been here for so many generations that my family has lost track of when we came here. I have family that fought in the American Revolution. That is how far back we go.

I am more afraid of regular crime. That is what Terrorizes me. The Muslim people I know where I live are just working in health care and working in school. They are not scary people. They are generous loving and kind. They are family oriented. I am scared of the people in gangs not these people who are working and studying to become doctors and other health care workers.

Umma Musaa ~
Unfortunately we are trained by what we read and see on TV. I have lost a a brother to a roadside bomb in Iraq and I lost a brother in the Persian Gulf War, it's easy to point the finger from both sides of this whole thing it also seems to be engulfing every ones way of thinking. I only know this as a matter of fact, War brings out the worst in every country and it's people, everything else I have to say is only my opinion. 9 -11 will soon be here, it's hard to take away from the fact that everyone that was involved in that horrible act were Muslim. Every time someone gets kidnapped it's a Muslim cutting through some persons neck that has absolutely nothing to with the war. Do you see how we as the majority of Americans can be filled with hatred and revenge? I feel sorry for every American life that has been lost, this is my country, my people my family has paid to dear of a price not for me to feel this way. If we were having this war in Korea, it would be the Koreans that our anger would be directed towards. You probably are too young to remember but during World War Two, we had concentration camps right here in the United States filled with Korean Americans and they were treated like the enemy. There are no easy answers here. This whole thing is just very sad.

I just want you to know that not all non-Muslims regard Islam as a threat and there are people of good will who are wanting and hoping to embrace our fellows in friendship and solidarity.
I am not a Muslim, and I don't believe the propaganda of the Bush regime. I don't believe that Muslims and terrorists are the same. The attempt to label a perceived enemy as a terrorist is ultimately ridiculous. Terrorism is not a "thing" it is a technique. It is to induce terror. This is done by many entities including the US government that induces a paranoia and mental terrorism on its citizens in order to continue the war that is ultimately required by the capitalist system. The use of bombs and armies against civilian populations as practised by the US and its client states is also the use of terror, and so terrorism.
On the other hand, the use of guerrilla tactics to combat a superior military force must also rely on terror. Terror is a valuable weapon, and it is used by all types of combatants. It has always been the case. In the past, Hannibal brought elephants to the Italian peninsula to induce terror. Ginggis Ghan used terror to go across Central Asia in the 13th century and with a small army was able to subdue more powerful opponents.
It's unfortunate that Muslims are made to feel marginalised and targeted. It's an irony of terrorism that one of it's most successful techniques is to convince people that the victims are the aggressors. This was the technique used to control the German people in the 1940s, when the Jews were labelled as a threat to the integrity of the society all the while that they were being persecuted. It was a lie then and the lie is being perpetrated against Muslims now, although thankfully not, and hopefully never, to the same extent.

look i'll be straight with you. When you watch CNN everynight and hear about a terrorist attack the first thing you think of is an islamic fundimentalist. the reason is that there have been so few other terrorists of other origins lately. it's kind of exclusive.
Now on one hand you hear about all these terrorists yet I can walk down the street (in the US) and if I see a muslim it will not even phase me. Thats because muslims in the US don't hate america. in fact many of them like it here and make a good living and have great lives. I have nothing against that. I have nothing against the islamic religion (according to it's teachings and yes I have studied it) It teaches people to be good and work hard and respect and obey god. I have nothing against this. I feel for all the muslims around the world who feel like they have to live in fear because of what is going on. Most muslims would jsut be happy to go about there lives and do what they feel is right by god and mankind.

Our problem is those who try to make trouble in the name of religion. History tells us all about this. Religious persecution and fanatisicim have always existed. Wether it is Christian vs. Islam (Crusades) Jews vs. Christians (Inquisition and Hitler) Jews vs. Islam (thats been going on for well....about 4000 yrs!) or Christians vs. native religions worldwide. The point is that it has always happened and it was always covered in the shield of religon to conceal political, military or colonialization. That is all that is going on now. Just using religion as a shield to cover acts of cowardice. What the islamic people need to decied is what side of the fance they are on. The side of true believers or the side of terrorists. Once you pick a side, no switching. No one is going to have a problem with a peaceful, forward looking islamic state. We only ahve problems with the ones who want to see every last "westerner" dead. No one in their right mind could tollorate a people like that.

Strange...you say you are not suppose to enjoy killing any Muslim, anywhere, for any reason. Then WHY is the Muslim taught from birth that they are to wipe out the infidels. Infidels meaning anyone other than Muslim/Islam. Why should the rest of the world accept any religion that teaches that sort of horror. They don't except Polygamy from the Mormons and that lifestyle is mild in comparison to strapping bombs to your wife, mother, child, self!

A terrorist can be anyone of any race or culture. people are VERY closed minded about that subject. It really annoys me when people get freaked about Muslims. they are normal human beings too. If Americans were stereotyped by the things that their people did.....they would not be trusted at all. Americans do a lot of VERY wrong things but no one even pays any attention to that. I am Native American. I should hate white people for what they did to my people. But I don't.

I think its quite evident that this is the case. People are united and swallow their rational thought when they feel their is an outside enemy.

It works for the US and the West the same way it works for the Middle East. You don't think in the Middle East you couldn't make your same statement except substitution Jew/Isreal or Christian/America?

The problem in this case isn't Islam or Christianity or Judiism but all of them combined. Organized religion is a cancer on this world and as long as people are coerced/threatened (i.e. believe this or suffer in the after-life) to believe the lies we will NEVER have a peaceful world.

i think people should not except that muslims are terrorist because they did not do anything wrong and if people say that twin towers were broken probably by anyone not only muslims. muslims never harmed the americans ,and just cause the twin towers broke the people think that muslims did this because they hate muslims . that's why people hate muslims . i think it's not fair to tell muslims they are terorist because if they one of a muslim did it ,it does not mean that all muslims broke the twin towers .

bull....terrorists is a group of people of any ethnic background that engages or is a threat to a country, colony, world, or an organization, not just Muslim or Islamic, that's bull and misleading, they have no remorse for their actions against the ones they hurt , kill, or attack, to them it is a way of life, to me it is barbaric and should be punishable by death. to terrorize is to intimidate, we won't be intimidated by such group...get over it.

I don't know anyone you describe. It's not how you say it is.

We have enough terrorists here in America: Army of God(anti-abortionists), Klu Klux Klan (racists), and so on. You know of them, they are terrorists.

Read some books and realize that anyone who threatens is a terrorist.
