Quite possibly that she may have to help support you as long as your in post secondary or at least until your 25 years old. I live in Canada and here parents are responsible until their children are 25 if they are still in school. However, it is sad that you have a fall down mother. Be grateful for the father you have been blessed with and continue your education in his honour. Best of luck to you.

Unfortunately, you cant sue for child support per se and maybe nothing else. Unless you have some kind of contract with her to help pay for your schooling then youre out of luck, sorry. Your best bet would be to become all you can be, rub it in your moms face and the day will come when she will need you and then what you do is up to you, but remember these days. What goes around will come around in time. Just dont ever forget your Dad! Good luck

Sorry 18 means you're an ADULT. Your parents aren't held to any kind of support. Shame on her for not helping, but that's it.
In the mean time, as a college student you can apply for financial aid for books, tuition, and even housing costs! Grants even come as cash to help with any other expenses. Take full advantage of the aid so you can get a great education, no thanks to your mother's money.

Hmm , i dont think youll be able to get anything from your mother. But i believe that the sole responsible for your new responsibility (the father) , is the best target to attack w/out question.
