Age is really not as important as oppose to: (1) Are you financially stable and able to provide a good environment for this child (2) Are you bringing this child into the world with good role models and good family values; a mother and a father (3) Do you have time to dedicate to this child and raise him/her, or are you going to be finishing your studies at night and working during the day to make ends meet and someone else will be spending most of your time with your child? If that is to be the case, then you are not yet ready because you should first try to accomplish as much as you want and be as ready as possible so like that your child could have the best of have to offer... Hope this helped...

I say about 20 but older if ya going to college full term. All depends when ya ready though. I know alot of people may not agree with me but I think every woman knows when she's ready. Some are ready as young as 17 but only you know. Either way though make sure if you are planing to become a mom you're with a guy that's gonna stay around. I've seen friends who have been with guys that left them. Being parent is wonderful at whatever age. But can be really hard if ya on ya own.

When you have the financial aspects of raising a child firmly in place. There is no good age unless financially you are ready. Yours and the childs future depend on how ready the mother is. Some women are financially ready at 20 or 21 and then some aren't ready until 40 or 50.

I was 27 when my son was born. For me it was a good age. I was stable in my profession and was well off financially. Unfortunately, I was not married, but since I was stable financially on my own, that did not factor into my ability to provide for my son. I also had a strong support system of people I could rely on to help me when times got rough.

Make sure you have the same before having kids. But when you are old enough to accept that the addition of a child in your life means that you cannot be self-centered anymore and do waht you want when you want with who you want, then you are almost ready.

But I recommend that you wait until you are married to have a child.
