It is a true pain! Do you still have that little Peri-care bottle they gave you? I kept it and did warm water rinses quite regularly. Follow it up with a little warm air from your hair blow dryer and you'll feel fresh and clean for a little while. Change pads really often because it will keep your labia feeling better. I always end up shaving off all of my pubic hair just to keep clean feeling. It should go from red or orangey/brown, then to yellow, then to white. If you over do it you will go back a step(color wise) for atleast a few hours. Of course if you experience unusual pain, really bad smell, or fever you should contact your doctor.

If you threw away the peri-care bottle then have somebody get you a water bottle with the lift up nozzle like dishsoap comes in and keep that by the toilet to use.

Also try diluting some baking soda in warm water and squirting with the peri bottle. If you threw your bottle away, you can usually find similar bottles in hair or beauty supply stores. Even a clean water bottle will work. Rinsing yourself with this will get you clean and the baking soda will help to absorb any odor. But it's probably not as bad as you think.
