I went through the same thing. My breasts hurt all through middle school. they felt like I had run into something all the time and if anything touched them it hurt. They are growing honey. They will stop hurting by high school most likely. If you are getting your period each months your breasts can become tender also, so maybe you are about to start your cycle around the time they hurt. As long as the hardness is on both sides it should be fine. If you ever feel a lump only on one side, then you might have something to worry about when your older...you have nothing to worry about right now. Yeah, it's probably growing pains. But if they pop out and then later become inverted (go backwards), itch, bleed, or have a discharge, it's a bad sign--go to the doctor about those symptoms. If it's just pain, take a pain reliever (not aspirin, but acetamenophin or whatever works)--it's not fun, but breasts often hurt while they grow and you'll just have to deal with it. And wear a training bra to keep your nipples covered and supported a little. Sorry they hurt. Mine hurt while they were growing, but when they got to their full size, they felt fine.
