Gay---1. Showing or characterized by exuberance or mirthful excitement. 2. Bright or lively, especially in color. 3. Full of or given to social or other pleasures 4. Dissolute; (lacking in moral restraint,) licentious (lacking in moral discipline 5. SLANG/ Homosexual.
Lesbian defines a person to be of one sexual persuasion or another. Gay has other meanings and so I don't favor gay being used to describe a person who is homosexual.
Maybe the men can be known as lesbio's and the women lesbia's; and collectively they will be called lesbians; and leave gay to it's wholesome meaning.

It's simple Guys cant be lesbians if they are gay because its only womens who are called lesbians if they acted or feel like a guy.

In short, Gay men don't want women and by calling them a Lesbian would state they like women.

They are not girls acting like boys.Gays say that they're becoming lesbians if they want to become straight and likes girls.They believe they are also girls but in boy's bodies so if a gay says he's becoming lesbian,he wants to straight.

Lesbian is a gender related term. It only applys to women. Personally, I don't like it. It sounds like some kind of lizzard.
