Since the 4 years old should be asleep focus all your energy into your husband starting with laying out whatever he wears to bed and run his shower for him. While he is bathing have his dinner in the plate and ice/ juice in his glass. Light a candle and sit with him while he eats. Listen to how his day went MEN LOVE WHEN A WOMAN LISTENS. Afterwards rub his shoulders crawl into bed and watch a little TV together or simply fall asleep snuggled close.

This may sound crazy but my husband loved this. If possible on the weekend have a babysitter for your 4 yr old away from home. Since me and my husband didn't have a honeymoon and we wanted to go somewhere tropical.I pitch a tent in the living room, hung some fabric on the in side of it, and made cooked everything Hawaiian(pineapple pork chops and chicken wings plus some drinks Kraftfood.com). I put the mattress in the tent and had candles from the door to the tent. I dress in attire ,tied 2 see-through scarves together and tied around my breast with some pants I already had and stuck a flower in my hair. When he came home I had a lay for around his neck and his drink in my hand.Music of the waves playing and just sit back and relax. If I lead to sex then it will be even better. If you dont have a tent customize your room to whatever theme you know he would like. Everything I brought at the dollar store except for the tent.
Hope that will help

I don't know what your husband does for work of how tired he is when he gets home. But since you have a 4 year old i would think they are in bed by that time...so what i would do since you are tired at night...go to bed when your child does, take a little "refresher" nap and get up 15 minutes before your husband gets home...have some candles lit and music playing so when he gets home he can either sit and relax with you, talk about the day, you can dance in the middle of your living room floor like it was your wedding day, or you can get a little more romantic =o) have him call you when he's on his way home...i'm not saying do this every night, but just a little surprise for him to come home to a nice calming home.

You're very sweet and generous.
If you feel it's not too late for a heavy dinner, put some pork in the slow-cooker ( crock pot ) the night before or early in the day and when he gets home, he can have pork on a hamburger bun with BBQ sauce. Easy!
Or bake him a frozen pizza. Guys love that!
Salads are nice n light but put some bacon bits, chicken strips, and cheese on it for him. You can buy the chicken and grated cheese in the refrigerated section of the grocery store. I think the chicken is Tyson fajita strips. Good luck with your 4 -year-old and the new baby! : )

It sounds like you're a good wife willing to do anything to make your husband happy.
That is a great quality in itself that I am pretty sure makes your husband complete.
Continue to cook dinner as well as keeping the house clean and I am pretty sure he will appreciate you and smile.
Any man coming home to food on the table in a clean house with a great family should be smiling anyway :)

Rent a nice romantic movie and watch it together. Of course it's a bit hard to do that at 10pm and with your 4 year old. May do this on the weekend.

Trust me, if he comes home from work and the dinner is waiting, that will make him smile. Seriously, tho, you meeting him at the door and being happy will probably make him happy as well.

Just make him a plate from whatever you had for Dinner and leave it in the fridge for him to microwave. Then wait in bed for him, he'll love it if your naked. It's sweet that even with a kid and expecting another one you still can find time to make your hubby feel good!

How about, going up, and telling him you appreciate all he does for you, and you love him. Tell him this every day, that will make him smile...even if he doesnt want to hear it...Its the one thing you can do, that will make you both happy....Communicate, tell him how you feel

This maybe crude but wait till the kids go to sleep and give a hand job while he eats dinner and relaxes. Don't ask just undo his pants and do it. Tell him how much you love him and want him while doing it. Good luck and have fun
