NE-YO SLAMS GAY RUMOURS
R+B singer NE-YO is vehemently denying claims he is going to announce he is gay. The SO SICK singer's publicist has slammed reports the singer will announce he is gay during a New York City press conference this week (begs28AUG06) and insists that he will also not be coming out in the latest issue of Essence magazine. Ne-Yo, real name SHAFFER CHIMERE SMITH, was forced to address the claims after an e-mail was circulated on the internet purportedly including quotes from the interview, which are attributed to a woman named BARBRA. A Def Jam representative says, "It's completely false. There isn't a staff member by that name at Essence, nor is Ne-Yo going to be featured in the October issue of the magazine."

No Neyo is not gay and the pictures where he was getting served up are forreal. Neyo is actually married to his bf and have a baby. And No, he's not on the DL. Essence released a notice saying that know one of that name works for Essence nor is Neyo no where in October or November issue.
If he was it wouldn't matter because he makes hit after hit!!

hes not gay. i read it on aol last nite. the writer of the story doesn't really work at essence. no one there goes by that name. and neyo isn't even in the october issue of essence where he supposedly admitted to it.

Are you sure he is gay!!! is this a rumor...maybe I am a bit niave but I think he conceals it well if he is. I always think that a gay guy would act like an over exaggerated woman much like the ones I know....are you sure
